Bag-in-box from Rapak - capturing the true spirit of Christmas
DECEMBER 2005

Gerstacker Weinkellerei GmbH, the largest and best-known mulled wine (Glühwein) producer in Germany, has been using Rapak's bag-in-box technology for over 10 years.

Why? Because the unique advantages of Rapak's bag-in-box systems allow Christkindles Gerstacker's Glühwein to retain all of its original seasonal colour and flavour. What's more, the 10L pack is practical, economical, hygienic and environmentally friendly. A 10L bag-in-box pack is, in comparison with glass bottles, approximately 60% lighter. No consignee, no expensive cleaning. , what is left of thisAll that remains of this one way packaging after emptying is effectively completely recyclable waste - a plastic pouch and a box.

The "High-Flow" dispensing fitment, equipped with a dust cap protection and a pouring beak spout, ensures a quick but clean pour.

More than 10 million litres of the popular 'Christkindles' Glühwein brand is consumed during the festive season in Germany. This highly popular drink is to be found at almost all 'Weihnachtsmärkten' (Christmas markets) and major retailers in Germany.

Gerstacker's Glühwein is a blend of high quality red wines together with a wonderful mixture of spices such as anise, cardamom, muscat, cloves, orange, lemon peel and cinnamon.

The fact that Gerstacker Weinkellerei GmbH, the largest mulled wine producer in Germany, uses Rapak's bag-in-box, speaks for itself!
