One of the characteristics of bag-in-box packaging is its versatility and its suitability for any kind of liquid or semi-liquid product. Rapak products can fit any type of filling machine which means they can be used in many different sectors.

Products that benefit from the bag-in-box technology include wine, post-mix syrups, milk, liquid eggs, dairy products, fruit juices and purées, tomato paste and water, as well as chemical and pharmaceutical products. For each type of product, Rapak gives customers a specific solution in terms of filling technology, shelf-life and dispensing systems.

For all fillers customers can choose semi or fully-automatic filling systems, according to the output required. Single head fillers with turnkey fully automated multi-head machines are available. The aseptic range includes the patented aseptic membrane filling system, Intasept® and the Sterikap™ aseptic filling system which is designed for customers with more standard applications, using bags with a gland and a cap.

A wide range of dispensers, including caps and taps, tube dispense, tamper evident closures, connectors and valve systems are also offered by Rapak. The facilities across the world, which operate a number of plastic injection machines, manufacture a wide range of dispensing solutions.
